Oil-less Reciprocating

Oil-less reciprocating compressors are widely used for almost all healthcare applications including hospitals, laboratories, dental offices, pharmaceutical, robotics and instrument air. These 100% dry compressors run slower and cooler which ensures efficient operation, longer pump life and less maintenance. Maintenance is simple and due to the longevity of the unit is very cost effective. This technology is environmentally friendly since no hazardous waste oil disposal is necessary.

Our ICU Oil-less Reciprocating systems are built in modules for easy installation and service on your site. The high quality pumps we use are equipped with inlet filters, high temperature shut down/alarms and air cooled aftercoolers with automatic separator drains. Each system also comes with an NFPA99 compliant drying, filtration and regulating system, dew point monitor, carbon monoxide monitor and any specialty options required for specific healthcare applications. The units are air cooled saving substantial dollars per year in the cost of cooling water. We only use A.S.M.E. certified receivers, interior coated when required, and U.L. approved control panels. All ICU medical air systems are pre-plumbed and pre-wired for single point connections and meet or exceed NFPA99C codes and other required regulations.

The tables below list our standard packages or we can build any unit to your exact specifications. Please contact our engineering department for more information

Equipment Features:

  • Efficient V-Belt design – TEFC motors are standard
  • 100% Duty Cycle for continuous operation when necessary
  • Environmentally friendly – 100% oil-less design
  • High pumping capacity and conservative speed
  • Air cooled design requires no water for operation

System Advantages:

  • Totally sealed, pre-lubricated bearings for long service life
  • Graphite material gaskets comply with EPA health standards
  • Free floating piston rings on all connecting rods for trouble-free operation

VIBRATION ISOLATION

Proper vibration prevention is important to equipment efficiency, function and life expectancy. Not all vibration isolators are created equal and choosing the right ones for your equipment is instrumental.

Isolators are designed to create superior performance stability by absorbing vibrations and shock and by distributing the equipment load evenly. This prevents rocking, limits impact shock transmission and blocks sensitive components from low frequency shock and also high frequency vibrations present in the floor.

We use only the finest grade isolators chosen for your specific application, equipment load handling requirements and any NFPA99 or other regulations governing the equipment chosen for your facility.
