Service & Repair

On-site Maintenance, Repairs and Rebuilds:

Chris service horiz for site250

In most cases we are able to repair, replace or rebuild your equipment on your job site. Our service technicians are factory trained and well versed in troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance and any repairs that may need to be done while the equipment is in place.

If we do perform service or equipment maintenance on your job site, be assured that our service technicians are ASSE 6040, Bloodbourne Pathogens, COVID-19 and HIPAA certified, with several years of medical air and medical vacuum service under their belts. Each technician has strict healthcare documentation through several hospital credentialing agencies including all recommended disease inoculations and background checks.

We are members of NFPA, carry a California Contractor’s License and meet/exceed regulations and required insurances. We have great references from some of the finest healthcare facilities in the nation. In the event of an emergency, we are available 24/7 to help get you out of any crisis situation.

For general service calls, each of our vans is equipped with the proper tools and an array of parts and lubricants for most machines. If your appointment is made in advance, all parts and materials are ordered and brought with our technician so that your maintenance and repair can be performed in the most efficient, cost effective and timely manner.

Shop Repairs and Rebuilds:

airandvac.com is is a full service facility. In the event a field repair is not possible, we can remove the equipment from your site and transport it to our shop for a full teardown, evaluation, repair or rebuild. After the work has been completed and the equipment has been thoroughly tested, we then return and reinstall the equipment back into your system. During this process, if you do not have adequate backup, we have rentals and emergency standbys that will see you through until your repaired equipment is thoroughly tested, re-installed and safely put back on line.

Our 35+ years of experience specializing in medical applications enable us to offer our clientele the best in-house or on-site service your money can buy. We are just a phone call away and information is free. So please feel free to contact our service department to discuss your equipment issues.

PM (Preventative Maintenance) Service Agreements:

Long term, regular care of your source equipment is money well spent. Preventative maintenance does just that . . . prevents normal problems from occurring because of routine equipment care.

PM inspections are performed, oils and lubrications are checked and changed consistently, pumps and motors are evaluated for proper operation, parts and components are checked and replaced when necessary, control panel and wiring are examined, temperatures are taken, systems are tested and much, much more. Major service is scheduled and performed, as recommended by the factory, to keep your system running at peak performance. Equipment testing and analytics are documented at each PM service interval for future comparison. All these items performed consistently have distinct advantages:

  • Keeps your equipment running smoothly and efficiently
  • Increases the life expectancy of your equipment
  • Reduces the possibility of unscheduled downtime
  • Decreases your chances of an emergency source equipment failure
  • Documentation is appropriate for third party maintenance inspections
  • Best value for your service budget, especially long term

If you would like more information about PM maintenance agreements, to schedule a complimentary equipment evaluation or just to ask questions about your equipment, please contact us. We are at your service!

VIBRATION ISOLATION

Proper vibration prevention is important to equipment efficiency, function and life expectancy. Not all vibration isolators are created equal and choosing the right ones for your equipment is instrumental.

Isolators are designed to create superior performance stability by absorbing vibrations and shock and by distributing the equipment load evenly. This prevents rocking, limits impact shock transmission and blocks sensitive components from low frequency shock and also high frequency vibrations present in the floor.

We use only the finest grade isolators chosen for your specific application, equipment load handling requirements and any NFPA99 or other regulations governing the equipment chosen for your facility.
