Lubricated Rotary Vane

The lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump is the most popular vacuum system technology used in hospitals and surgery centers today. These rugged, oil-recirculating pumps have a long life and can provide thousands of hours of reliable service. Most are air cooled and require relatively little maintenance. In the medical industry, this product is popular from 1 HP through 25 HP and is excellent when designed into systems with multiple units.

The high quality pumps we use are a direct drive design requiring no belts and are driven by TEFC motors. These pumps are capable of operating continuously through their full vacuum range up to 29.3” HG. We fill each pump with a high quality, extended life synthetic lubricant. No water is required for the operation of these units – the water consumption savings per year is substantial.

Our ICU Lubricated Rotary Vane systems always include by-pass piping, vacuum gauge, double valve drain system, and sight gauge. We only use U.L. approved control panels and A.S.M.E. certified receivers. All systems are pre-plumbed and pre-wired for single point connections. Our vacuum systems always meet or exceed NFPA99 codes and other required regulations.

If you do not see what you are looking for in the standard systems shown below, we can custom build to suit your specific needs – generally at the same price as a standard system. Please contact our engineering department for more information.

Equipment Features:

  • TEFC motors are standard
  • 100% Duty Cycle
  • One piece pump and motor assembly
  • Sealed and filtered recirculating oil system
  • Air cooled design requires no water for operation

System Advantages:

  • Direct drive eliminates belts and gears to loosen or wear
  • Compact design for small spaces and easy installation
  • Simple design is easily serviced on-site
  • Internal oil mist eliminator for 99.9% oil-free exhaust
  • Long life, low maintenance and low overall operating costs

VIBRATION ISOLATION

Proper vibration prevention is important to equipment efficiency, function and life expectancy. Not all vibration isolators are created equal and choosing the right ones for your equipment is instrumental.

Isolators are designed to create superior performance stability by absorbing vibrations and shock and by distributing the equipment load evenly. This prevents rocking, limits impact shock transmission and blocks sensitive components from low frequency shock and also high frequency vibrations present in the floor.

We use only the finest grade isolators chosen for your specific application, equipment load handling requirements and any NFPA99 or other regulations governing the equipment chosen for your facility.
